L\u2019on voit que les \u00e9coliers n\u2019arrivent pas \u00e0 s\u2019exprimer en langue fran\u00e7aise malgr\u00e9 les dispositions mises en place par les professeurs et gouvernements pour institutionaliser cette langue au pays. Cette situation demeure persistante parce que la politique de la langue fran\u00e7aise n\u2019est pas pratiqu\u00e9e car partout dans la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration, il y a un d\u00e9clin dans l\u2019inscription du fran\u00e7ais parmi les \u00e9l\u00e8ves pour l\u2019examen de Senior Secondary School Certificate. Dans cette \u00e9tude, il s\u2019agit d\u2019identifier les causes de ce d\u00e9clin et puis de proposer des solutions ad\u00e9quates pour les r\u00e9soudre. Parmi les facteurs causant les difficult\u00e9s, on retient le manque de professeurs qualifi\u00e9s, peu de motivation des \u00e9l\u00e8ves, le manque de motivation chez les professeurs, le manque de mat\u00e9riels didactiques, les difficult\u00e9s du cursus et l\u2019usage de m\u00e9thode de l\u2019enseignement traditionnelle par les professeurs en classe. L\u2019\u00e9tude a recommand\u00e9 que professeurs de fran\u00e7ais aux \u00e9coles secondaires emploient la m\u00e9thode communicative pour enseigner le fran\u00e7ais aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves car la m\u00e9thode est recommand\u00e9e par le gouvernement.
