Dans leur contribution \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9veil des mentalit\u00e9s et \u00e0 la compr\u00e9hension du monde qui nous entoure, le th\u00e9\u00e2tre et la philosophie adoptent des approches totalement diff\u00e9rentes. Pendant que la <em>Mim\u00e8sis<\/em> constitue la principale m\u00e9thode d\u2019approche propre au th\u00e9\u00e2tre, la philosophie instruit dans les \u00e9coles. Avec la repr\u00e9sentation, le th\u00e9\u00e2tre a un public particuli\u00e8rement tr\u00e8s large pendant que celui de la philosophie est tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9. Par son pouvoir de fascination des peuples \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la sc\u00e8ne, il devient l\u2019objet de pol\u00e9mique par la philosophie qui l\u2019accuse de \u00ab\u00a0poison\u00a0\u00bb et d\u2019\u00ab\u00a0ensorceleur\u00a0\u00bb, allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 imposer l\u2019\u00e9radication du th\u00e9\u00e2tre et de tout homme de th\u00e9\u00e2tre hors de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.
