Drawing on the concepts developed by semiotician Vladimir Krysinski, the study aims to identify the mechanisms through which time is treated in the narrative structure. Using Waciny Laredj&#8217;s novel <em>Drame de la septi\u00e8me nuit apr\u00e8s les mille<\/em> as a case study, the analysis engages with existing critical frameworks while assessing the extent to which sequential semiotics can effectively address the temporal component.
