It builds on Foucault&#8217;s analysis of knowledge as a product of power and discourse, necessitating an examination of the mechanisms of its production within specific epistemological frameworks. The researcher aims to shed light on Foucault&#8217;s critique of modern Western reason through the method of &#8220;archaeology,&#8221; which uncovers epistemic ruptures and discursive formations via the concept of the &#8220;episteme.&#8221; Additionally, the paper addresses Foucault\u2019s redefinition of Western rationality by questioning the boundaries between legitimate knowledge and marginalized discourse, as well as his critique of humanism as a tool for consolidating power relations rather than liberating individuals.
