Relecture du rapport Afrique-France dans Des hommes et des villes et La Sorcière dans le lune d’Annie Ferret

La relation Afrique-France étudiée dans cet article se veut plus pacifique et interculturelle que violente ou assujettissante, avec un passif historique . Son analyse repose sur trois principaux points : d’abord, l’onomastique met au jour un fort ancrage des œuvres de cette écrivaine française dans la réalité socioculturelle de l’Afrique de l’Ouest ou du Sahel. Elle révèle une perception évolutive de l’espace et un choix d’anthroponymes et d’ethnonymes lié aux valeurs anciennes et modernes. Ensuite, les habitudes alimentaires et l’emploi des xénismes par Annie Ferret révèlent un brassage culturel, signe d’un trouble sinon d’une confusion, du moins d’une hybridité d’identités observables chez les Africains et les Français qui invite au vivre-ensemble et à la vie en commun. De cette adaptation naît enfin un rapport plus harmonieux et solidaire entre ces personnages. L’Afrique dont l’histoire est ici analysée dans ses rapports à la France se veut une terre d’attractivité, d’accueil et d’hospitalité où se jouent les intérêts des étrangers et surtout du monde francophone en ce XXIe siècle.
