سعت هذه الدراسة إلى إستكشاف واقع التكوين التكميلي للغة الإنجليزية عبر منصة (مودل) لطلبة الدراسة العليا ، لتزايد أهمية اللغة الإنجليزية في الأوساط البحثية العالمية، اذ تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الإستكشافي، بالإعتماد على مقابلات موجهة مع عينة من طلبة كلية العلوم الإنسانية والإجتماعية بجامعة محمد بوضياف المسيلة، وقد تمحورت إشكالية الدراسة حول: معرفة واقع التكوين التكميلي للغة الإنجليزية عبر منصة مودل لدى طلبة الدراسات العليا، وكانت النتائج المتوصل إليها تشير إلى أن التكوين التكميلي للغة الإنجليزية يرتكز على جانبين أولهما الجانب التقني المتمثل في إستخدام منصة (مودل) لتقديم الدروس، حيث أشار الطلبة إلى وجود تحديات تقنية ومع ذلك فقد أجمعوا على أن المنصة وسيلة مقبولة نسبيا لإنجاز الأنشطة التكوينية، أما الجانب التكويني فتضمن محتوى الدروس المقدمة عبر المنصة و الورشات التكوينية التي يعرض فيها الطلبة أعمالهم، هذا وقد طالب المتعلمون على ضرورة إدراج تعديلات مختلفة خاصة فيما يتعلق بتنمية الحس البحثي لديهم وترجمته إلى أبحاث أكاديمية لضمان توافق التكوين مع الأهداف المنشودة.
