Create your ORCID and keep yourself connected to the academic community
ORCID is an abbreviation which stands for Open Researcher and Contributor ID. It is a non-profit organization which provides researchers with a unique digital identifier. This identifier works as an ID for researchers like DOI and ISSN for articles and journals. It helps the researcher to figure out his/ her identity in the academic community and avoid the risk of confusing him/herself with other researchers’ identities.
How to get the ORICID iD?
Go to https://orcid.org/register , register and create your account.
After the paper is published, the researcher can upload it to her/her ARCID account to raise its visibility and the possibility of being cited.
