Abstract
Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly altered the traditional learning environment in Algeria and resulted in a noticeable change in students’ learning behaviors and teachers’ methods of instruction. They had to adapt to online learning, which brought both challenges and opportunities for educational growth and development. Dr. Moulay Tahar University implemented online pedagogical platforms such as the Jitsi and Moodle apps in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. but they have since become an integral part of our educational approach in the post-COVID era. The seamless integration of online tools with traditional face-to-face lectures by university instructors has given birth to “blended learning.” This strategy combines the advantages of face-to-face instruction with the adaptability and accessibility of online resources thus, causing enhancement of students’ overall learning experience. This study investigates the experiences of educators participating in integrated learning-related professional development programs. We investigate the efficacy of these programs, the readiness of educators, and their future expectations. The research also examines the difficulties educators confront in preparing for blended learning. It addresses issues associated with time constraints, technology access, and adapting to innovative teaching methods. We investigate how current professional development programs resolve these challenges and where enhancements are necessary. Finally, we look into the expectations teachers have for the future of professional development. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the function of training in preparing educators for blended learning as the new teaching standard. It invites conference attendees to participate in a discussion about influencing the future of education in a world that is constantly evolving.
