Abstract
Our objective is to study the socio-political counter-discourse in an Algerian French-language novel; namely “Les sens interdits” “by Mourad Djebal published by La Difference in 2001.
Our study would be an analysis of controversial speeches. However, the richness of the content and the multiplicity of discourses and modes of expression inscribe this work from a discursive perspective. In short, our job is to demonstrate that this novelist, like those of his generation, opts for a protest speech insofar as this allows them to revoke the violence inflicted on the Algerian; an open violence which affirms its ends and engages its responsibilities. It is instituted in speech, politics and even in morality by making the people pass for the only culprit of violence. His texts are in a way a call to fight violence in all its forms and not only to denounce it
